Volunteers at East Bay SPCA allow us to provide great care and varied enrichment to our shelter animals! Without the time, effort and expertise of each volunteer, we would not be able to run our shelters. Volunteers assist with the essential daily care of our dogs and puppies, including: feeding animals and cleaning their habitats to ensure happy and healthy residents. Volunteers will work closely with staff to ensure that our dogs and puppies receive the highest standard of care. Experienced Animal Care volunteers are eligible for additional volunteer activities, including cat and kitten socialization after completing required training.
Duties Include:
Feed dogs and provide fresh water.
Clean/sanitize living spaces as needed.
Participate in the general upkeep of our adoption and holding areas.
Assist with shelter duties including; laundry, cleaning windows, mopping areas.
Note any behavioral or medical issues and report them to staff.
Shifts:
Shifts are available from 8-10am and 3-5pm. We especially need help weekday mornings.
Please check out our website for more details and information on how to apply at https://eastbayspca.org/get-involved/volunteer/become-a-volunteer/
