Ongoing tutors needed!

VOLUNTEER TUTOR OPENINGS

Meet one-to-one with elementary school students during school hours; focus on literacy. Youth performing below grade level in reading, spelling and writing.

Meet with a small group of elementary school students during a community After School program.

Adult GED preparation one-to-one tutoring

Volunteer time commitment based on the type of volunteer activity. All volunteers attend an Orientation session, obtain background checks, and participate in ongoing free training. Typically, 2 hours per week. It can be 1 hour, twice a week (preferred) or 2 hours once a week. Would prefer those who can commit to a minimum of 6 months.

Tutoring sessions occur at public libraries chosen by the volunteer tutor and student!
