We're bringing people and their furry friends together again for another edition of "Yappy Hour" & Pop-Up Dog Park in downtown Bethesda! If you are a dog lover, and enjoy being around them, this is a great opportunity for you!
Yappy Hour features live music and Bethesda restaurants selling food, beer and wine. The pop-up dog park will consist of a small dog area and a large dog enclosure area for well-socialized dogs.
Volunteer Tasks:
*Monitor dog enclosure areas:
a) Remind owners that dogs should be on the leash when leaving the dog enclosure areas
b) Remind owners to pick-up after their dogs and hand out Mutt Mitt bags, as needed
*Keep dog bowls filled with water
*Hand out give-aways and brochures at the Montgomery Parks table.

Our agency is located just north of Washington D.C., and was originally created to protect the stream valleys around the D.C. area. We have grown into a 34,000 acre park system with over 400 local, urban and regional parks; recreation centers; ballfields; playgrounds; nature centers, a botanic garden and over 200 miles of trails.
