Catholic Charities Bullhead City Day Center is a drop in center for people experiencing homelessness. The volunteers help the most vulnerable in our community by providing to their most basic needs, food, water and a place to come to, to avoid the extreme desert weather.

Time Commitment: The Day Center is open Monday- Friday 12:00pm-5:00pm. Each individual volunteer shifts are 4 hour, and the commitment is to at least one shift a month.
Tasks:
Check in desk
* Check in and welcome clients as they come into the center
* Track services given i.e. food, water, clothes, hygiene products, blankets, and if they received a referral to any other agencies
* Issue bus passes, keep track who they are issued to
* Track sack lunches
* At the end of the day the volunteer is responsible for cleaning bathroom, vacuuming the day room, wipe down tables, mop floors and change sheets on the cots
Kitchen
* Serve food
* Keep kitchen clean
* Keep stock room cleaned up
* Keep day room clean
* Mop floor
* Keep clothing area straightened up

Requirements:
* 7-site background check
* 2 Reference Checks
* AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance card
* AZ Food Handlers card (free through the county)
