The squadrons of New Hampshire Wing, Civil Air Patrol are looking for experienced media and marketing photographers to donate their time and expertise as a part of the all-volunteer United States Air Force Auxiliary.
Our media & marketing photographers work in the public relations arena, providing high quality images for our social media platforms, press releases, and other internal and external media products that help lift the local and state-wide public awareness in the missions & members of Civil Air Patrol.
If you’re up for the task, CAP offers ordinary citizens unique training and service opportunities in your local community.
The Mt Washington Flight meets the 2nd & 4th Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 41 (44 Littleton Rd, Whitefield).
Qualifications:
- Skill with photography, social media (prior PR experience helpful)
- Your own camera equipment (DSLR-quality capability preferred)
- Great people & communication skills;
- Aged 18 or older;
- Ability to pass a background check;
- Enthusiasm for community service.
We invite you visit a weekly squadron meeting. You'll get a chance to meet some of our members who will discuss the organization, provide you with information and answer any questions you might have about the Civil Air Patrol. Mission Statement
The Civil Air Patrol performs missions for America, trains youth in aviation, leadership and character, and promotes aerospace and science education through resources for educators and programs for its members.
Description
CAP is a volunteer organization with an aviation-minded membership that includes people from all backgrounds, lifestyles, and occupations. Originally formed in 1941, today it performs three Congressionally-assigned key missions:
Emergency Services, which includes search and rescue (by air and ground), disaster relief operations, communications, and homeland security missions along with operating the largest fleet of single-engine aircraft in the world;
Aerospace Education provides aviation related materials and activities for CAP members, educators, K-12 students and the general public in such areas as space, rocketry, aviation engineering and Science Technology Engineering & Math (STEM) subjects; and
Cadet Programs, directed at aviation-minded teenagers with a framework where they can learn about leadership and aerospace and promote physical fitness and community service.
