ORGANIZATION: Boys & Girls Clubs of Medford and Somerville

The Medford Boys & Girls Club is seeking volunteers for its afterschool program. These are direct service opportunities working with youth, and include providing academic support and tutoring, literacy support, and/or leading or assisting with seasonal programming opportunities.

Hours of Operation:

Medford Club (located in the basement of the Chevalier Theater, 30 Forest Street, Medford, MA):

Monday-Friday 2:30-6:30pm (Elementary and Middle School Programs); AND

Tuesday and Thursdays 6:00-8:00pm (Teen Programs)

If you are interested in volunteering, please visit our website http://bgcms.org/get-involved/volunteer/ and click on the link to complete a volunteer application (includes consenting to a National and MA criminal background check as well as a Sex Offender registry check). After we receive your application, we will contact you for an introductory meeting and a New Volunteer Orientation.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Medford and Somerville are proud to serve the youth of Somerville and Medford .

Our Core Programs engage young people in activities with adults, peers and family members that enable them to reach their full potential. Based on the interests and needs of the boys and girls we serve, our Clubs offer diverse programs in five areas: Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, the Arts, and Sports, Fitness & Recreation.
