Join Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and the Fairmount Park Conservancy for a vine pulling at Cobbs Creek Park!
Cobbs Creek Park is an 800-acre greenway of forested valleys, wetlands, and trails. It's also the site of a major forest restoration project, aimed at improving Philly's resilience to ever warmer and wetter seasons. Join us to learn more and to help prepare our forests for this changing climate! We'll spend the morning pulling vines, clearing invasives, and exploring the lesser-known trails of Cobbs Creek Park.
Projects are lead by Philadelphia Parks & Recretion and Fairmount Park Conservancy staff. All tools and materials are provided.
