This opportunity calls for assisting a wonderful couple, who are both legally blind. They are amazing and can do so many things, but they need your eyes to help. If you are free at least one hour per week to help with vision related tasks (reading through mail, finding documents, helping with the computer, assist in food shopping) please call Suzanne Windland at 718 454-2100, ext 123.

Mission Statement
Services Now for Adult Persons, Inc. has accepted the challenge of being dedicated to the needs of older adults. SNAP provides direct services to enhance their quality of life. We also provide coordination of case plans, advocacy and linkages to community resources to assist our clients and to prevent premature institutionalization
Description
Services Now for Adult Persons Volunteer program is two-fold.
1. We help active senior citizens find volunteer opportunities in the community.
2. We recruit any age volunteers to assist homebound and more frail senior citizens in their every day needs. From just having tea and chatting to shoveling snow, all volunteers are so welcome and so appreciated.
