The Boys & Girls Club Bremerton Teen Center is seeking an Education Program Assistant to plan and run educational games and learning activities with middle school kids during their after school programs.
Duties:
- Plan educational games and activities inspiring kids to learn. ( i.e. trivia, story building games, educational bingo, etc.)
- Engage and participate with kids in learning activities.
- Teach, mentor and motivate kids from diverse backgrounds.
- Comfortable working with teens ages 12-16.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- High energy level.
- Ability to motivate youth to participate in activities.
- Punctual and dependable.
- 30 minute Volunteer Orientation.
- 30 minute online training.
- 1 hour one day per week. Either M,T,Th, or F 4:00-5:00 p.m., or Wednesday's 1:30-2:30 p.m.
- Minimum 6 week commitment.
