Providence ElderPlace-PACE(Program for All Inclusive Care for the Elderly) is an innovative program of services for older adults. Providence ElderPlace helps older adults remain as healthy and independent as possible in the community for as long as possible.
In-Home Friendly Visitors: The ElderPlace In-Home Friendly Visitors program provides one-on-one support to our participants within their living environment outside of the ElderPlace facilities.
We have many participants joining us in the Kent/Renton/Federal Way area who would love to have regular volunteer visitors.
Volunteers may sit and talk, go on walks, play games, sing, draw, watch TV or movies together, assist with organizing, writing, or whatever it is you friends decide to do together.
Qualifications
- Ability to engage with many types of people
- Desire to connect with seniors
- Good listening skills
- Dependable
- 18 + years of age
A general new volunteer orientation of two hours is required. An in home volunteer orientation for this opportunity is provided.

Description
Providence ElderPlace is an innovative program of health care and social services for older adults. Our model of care is known as PACE (Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly).Participants attend the Providence ElderPlace Center on a regular basis, and transportation is provided. The ElderPlace team of health care and social service professionals and our affiliates provide comprehensive integrated care to our participants.
