Do you love all kinds of music? TMP is for you! Tosco Music is a resident company of Blumenthal Performing Arts and produces five Tosco Music Parties (TMP’s) each year. A TMP is a music variety showcase of an eclectic mix of music styles by approximately 15 acts performing one or two songs each. Every TMP is a completely unique live music experience that also engages the audience in singalongs throughout the evening led by John Tosco and the TMP House Band & Singalong Choir. Fun for all ages - bring a group of friends or the whole family! Ticket prices are kept affordable to support an inclusive audience - box office (704) 372-1000. Tickets are discounted 10% for students, groups of 10 or more (groups call 704-348-5752), or when purchasing tickets to two or more TMP's at once.
TMP Volunteers help with many needs at each TMP (minimum 3 hours between 3-11pm) - performer and member hospitality, set up and pack up, raffles, backstage check-in, green room, and merch table. TMP volunteers receive a ticket and are able to enjoy most of the event from inside the theater (all volunteers may work at least 30 min during performances).
Desired skills/abilities: comfort greeting strangers and making them welcome, comfort with crowds, physical ability to move bins of supplies from one theater location to another (hand carts are available), some volunteers will take Square payments for Raffles and Merch so familiarity with Square is a plus but not required. Parents with older teens are welcome as volunteers.
Additional Tosco Music volunteer opportunities include a variety of roles at different Tosco Music programs in the community. Volunteer can help with hospitality at Tosco Music Open Mic, or join other volunteers to sing with Tosco Music musicians in senior communities (Senior Singalongs). In June, many volunteers are needed for FABFEST - Charlotte's Beatles Festival - visit www.fabfestcharlotte.org for event details.

Born from intimate living room jam sessions in Charlotte, NC, Tosco Music Parties have grown into popular community concerts where nationally recognized acts share the stage with undiscovered artists and audience members are invited to sing along throughout the evening.
From concerts and open mic nights to music scholarships and outreach, Tosco Music is a 5013 nonprofit organization dedicated to helping explore , develop and share their passion for music in all its forms.
