Comeback Trail 2017

In 2016 we launched the Comeback Trail series. For the first time, the stroke community had an opportunity to come together to raise stroke awareness and celebrate survivorship by walking or running together on the Comeback Trail.

In 2018, we have expanded our Comeback Trail series to 14 cities across the U.S. and are looking for volunteers to help support us at each event. You can expect this to be a fun, fast-paced event with opportunities to help in a few different areas. Although each volunteer will be assigned to one main responsibility, this will be an all hands on deck type of event.

Potential volunteer responsibilities include: setting up the 5K course with cones, mile markers, and start/finish lines; helping race participants register and receive their t-shirt and bib; directing traffic through designated parking areas; cheering on participants during the race; passing out water to race participants; passing out educational information on stroke at our awareness table.
