About Us: Resurrection Roller Derby is a Sonoma County roller derby league based out of Rohnert Park. We're volunteer run, with the mission of promoting the sport and providing opportunities for athletes in the North Bay region. Our league is growing fast, with plans to do even more moving forward.

The Role: We're looking for contributors to our social media marketing campaigns. This can mean posting on managed accounts or, depending on experience, taking ownership of specific channels. Details can be discussed individually. As a member of the larger marketing team you will have the opportunity to contribute to all of our outreach efforts.

Why You Should Do It: For one, this is going to be a lot more fun that what you normally do. Why? Roller derby is cool, we're cool, and you get to join in our coolness. You'll also get to watch the organization grow and know you helped make that happen. You'll of course get to use us as a reference, that goes without saying. We do whatever we can to recognize and reward volunteers for their hard work. And if you want to try something new or learn a new technique, we'll support you. This is a great opportunity to develop a skill set or refine one you already have. Did I mention that we're cool and fun to hang out with?

Commitment: About 4 hours per month, spread out evenly for constant updates. In person meeting is not required, but recommended for getting photos for social posts. Optional bi-monthly meetings are recommended, none are required. Volunteers who want to put in more time or take on more responsibility will have that opportunity.
