Rainforest Partnership is an international non-profit headquartered in Austin, TX, dedicated to protecting and restoring tropical rainforests. We work directly with indigenous communities in the Amazon to create a sustainable livelihoods, giving them an income that lets them keep their forest and their way of life. We also host many events throughout the year including Films for the Forest (part of SXSW Community Screenings), World Rainforest Day, and our Amazon in Austin event.

We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer who can convey the message and mission of Rainforest Partnership to the world.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit marketing/promotional materials for our events, emails, social media, webpage, and informational materials.
• Work independently and learn from other staff and volunteers to craft message and design
• Help organize the marketing aspect of upcoming events

Requirements:

• Strong desire to learn along with a professional drive
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products such as Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and other graphic design and editing tools like Canva
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Drive
• The ability to work on a tight schedule and turn-over designs quickly
• A highly collaborative and positive attitude
• A sense of responsibility and accountability
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent time management and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently
