Musicians Needed to Brighten the Day of a Hospice Patient!

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Minnesota Hospice

  • 1 person is interested

Do you love music? Do you play an instrument or sing? Musicians are needed to support patients with a life limiting illness. In addition to music your visit would include interaction with the patient, family and caregivers. These services will take place where the patient resides; this could be in their own home, Assisted Living, or Nursing Home.

Imagine making a difference in someone's life with as little as one hour, a few times a month!

At Minnesota Hospice, we take great pride in our Volunteers. When you volunteer with us, you become party of our family. We will ensure that you receive proper orientation and training. We screen every volunteer and patient to ensure we make the best match!

We offer our services in the following counties: Dakota, Scott, Rice and Le Sueur, Carver and Southern Hennepin. You choose your service area!

For more information please call Sonya Parks, Volunteer Coordinator at (952) 898-1022 or email sonya.parks@mnhospice.com

Mission Statement

With every step of our journey, we offer compassion through extraordinary care, hope through innovative services, inspiration through endless encouragement, and expand community awareness.

Description

Minnesota Hospice was founded by a group of Minnesota physicians dedicated to improving the model of hospice care in Minnesota. Minnesota Hospice is not a huge, national corporate hospice company. Rather, it was born out of the necessity to create a new model of end-of-life care that embraces the hospice care team as well as our patients and families.

At Minnesota Hospice, we are a culture of love, compassion and hope that equates to the highest quality of patient care and service to our community caregivers. It is the vision of Minnesota Hospice to be known as The Gold Standard in end-of-life care for our patients, families and for other hospices in Minnesota.
