Want to help spark a child’s interest in STEM fields? The Variety Boys & Girls Club is seeking volunteers for our after school science and technology classes!

The Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens is a non-profit organization that specializes in providing children ages 6-18 with the highest quality programming. Our programs include homework help, swimming and sports, coding, engineering, gourmet cooking, drama, dance, media production and so much more.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support elementary and middle school students in science and technology classes
  • Help facilitate activities and projects in a variety of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) subject areas including: coding, robotics, media production and engineering.
  • Be an encouraging and positive influence for participants

When:

4:30-6:30 pm Monday-Friday

Established in 1955, the Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens (VBGCQ) is a nonprofit organization that inspires children to discover their passions and cultivate their futures through a diverse array of youth development programs.

We specialize in providing children of all ages with the highest quality programs and pride ourselves in being the largest youth development organization in Western Queens, serving over 4,000 young people each year. Our comprehensive range of programs include homework help, swimming and sports, coding, engineering, gourmet cooking, drama, dance, media production and so much more. Whether a child dreams of becoming an engineer, a filmmaker or an all-star athlete, our after school, summer camp, aquatics and weekend programs support them in realizing their aspirations.
