VMF is a volunteer organization - we need and seek volunteers who are committed, compassionate and want to make a difference in the lives of veterans with physical and/or mental health challenges.

VMF is in need of puppy sitters to support our canine department. Puppy sitters ensure consistency in training while providing puppies an opportunity to experience different environments and giving raisers peace of mind when they travel. Puppy sitting opportunities vary any where from a weekend, to a couple of weeks depending on the needs of our puppy raisers.

Veterans Moving Forward, Inc., (VMF) is a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code dedicated to providing service dogs to veterans with physical and/or mental health challenges, at no cost to the veteran. Located in Dulles, Virginia, VMF serves qualified veterans anywhere within the continental United States.
