Martin Volunteers is a program of United Way that recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County.
The mission of the organization where this opportunity is located is to offer all families, regardless of background or income, affordable early-childhood nurturing, education and recreation that stimulates healthy emotional and social development and helps prepare their children to excel in school and life.
Volunteers are needed to assist in the school garden. An assortment of tasks are available working with or without preschoolers. Working closely with the school gardener, volunteers can have a flexible schedule depending on their skills, the weather and preferences.
Must be dependable, have steady balance, sensible shoes and bring water to stay hydrated.
Background check MAY be required.
