YOU can make a difference in the life of an abused and neglected child.
At CASA's information session, guests have the opportunity to hear about the process of advocating for a child who has been abused or neglected. It’s the best way to get the full picture of what’s involved. No experience needed. Must be at least 21 years old.

Mission Statement
To provide a voice in court for every abused and neglected child that they might have an opportunity for a safe and permanent home. To help the child in crisis feel a little less alone, understand a little more about what is happening around them, and know that someone who cares will be there through their entire court experience. To watch diligently over the child's care that they not get lost in the system and are provided the needed services to grow up to become healthy, productive adults, able to break the chain of abuse. To assist the court and the Guardian ad Litem by providing accurate, child centered information as they seek to legally protect the child.
Description
Each child in Greater Prince William County receives a specially trained community volunteer that will represent that child's best interest in court.
