Title: Governance
This role is a Doing Good Board Member.
Job Description: Oversees the governance of Doing Good.
Responsibilities
- Ensure universal nonprofit governance recommendations are followed.
- Primarily reference BoardSource.org.
- Partners with Executive Director & Board Members.
- Meets individually with board members.
- Assist in planning the annual retreat.
- Provide the Doing Good Board strategic leadership.
- Ensures excellent transition of Governance documents & responsibilities to the following person in this role.
Important Dates
- Annual Board Retreat during January
- Board Meetings every other month
- The 3 rdMonday of May, July, September, & November
- 6:00 pm tour, 6:30-8:00 meeting
- Monthly committee meetings, when applicable
- Doing Good Holiday Party for VIPs (Volunteers & other Important Partners
- Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 6:00 pm
