The Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services is a small but mighty organization that provides funding to support the animals and programs of Loudoun County Animal Services. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to keep us active at community events and develop relationships with local businesses that would like to host us for fundraising opportunities and/or donate to our cause.
FLCAS has been active for almost 9 months, and in that time we have been successful in raising funds to provide medical care for 11 animals. Our part in their care not only brought them relief and healing, but made them more adoptable so they were able to find homes. It's difficult for the shelter to place pets who need expensive medical care, and when we remove that burden from potential adopters, everyone wins!
This is a key position within our organization, and you will work closely with the Board of Directors to help us flourish and grow. You will get to be the person who puts the "fun" into fundraising!

Mission Statement
The Friends of Loudoun County Animal Services is a nonprofit, independent animal welfare organization dedicated to raising funds for, and providing support to, the animals and programs of Loudoun County Animal Services (LCAS).
Description
LCAS is a progressive shelter that is dedicated to providing services geared towards helping the community and pets in need, and finding homes for every adoptable pet that comes through their doors. The shelter and the staff are a valuable resource to the community, and we are so proud of the work they do!
The shelter's budget, provided by county, covers basic medical treatment for the pets in their care, but the cost of veterinary services is rising. Our purpose is to raise funds that will ease the burden of those costs, and allow the shelter to provide a higher level of care to those animals who need it.
You can join us in our mission to support LCAS! Whether you volunteer, or donate, or both, your support will help us grow and aid the shelter in expanding its programs. The work you do will be rewarding, and you can take pride in knowing your efforts are benefiting hundreds of lives each year!
