Volunteer to help people earn their GED at Dallas Public Library! That's right, we offer free GED classes (both online & in-person) to the community, and we need some amazing volunteer teachers! Our Fall semester will last from September 5th - November 14th. Times, dates & locations of the GED classes are listed on the signup sheet (linked down below).

HERE'S MORE INFO ABOUT THE GED CLASSES! GED teachers and assistants work with small groups to prepare students for GED subject tests. Classes are activity-based to provide a welcoming, fun environment, and to help the adult learner grasp new concepts. Special training, textbooks & lesson plans provided. You have the option of teaching either Math, Social Studies & Science (taught together) or Reasoning Language Arts (similar to Reading Language Arts). Dates, locations & times are listed on the signup sheet.
