Hospice volunteers get to pull up a chair and learn about history from those who lived it.
Come and join a compassionate and supportive team by contributing your time, unique skills, and unhurried presence as we provide unequaled and collaborative patient-centered care. Partners In Care serves Central Oregon, including Bend, Redmond, Madras, Prineville, La Pine, Sisters, Camp Sherman, Crescent, Gilchrist, Chemult and Christmas Valley.
All interested volunteers must complete a Volunteer Application, attend Volunteer Orientation, and undergo a background check, drug screening, and TB test.
The next scheduled Volunteer Orientation will take place at the end of July, 2019. Please contact Jason Medina, 541-382-5882, for more information or complete a Partners In Care Volunteer Application.

Description
The hospice philosophy recognizes that end of life is not just a medical event but a personal experience. When a person decides that they no longer want to spend their time seeking aggressive medical treatment, but focus on achieving quality in the time they have left, a team of professionals at Partners In Care work to make that happen. Volunteers become important members of the interdisciplinary team working to provide a more holistic system of care for patients and their families.
