We offer educational experiences for med students.

Some of our patients have family who live far away, or are maybe just can't be with their loved one as much as they'd like. Our patients are in their own homes or senior living facilities around the Tri-Cities area. We'd match you up with a patient to visit (no hands on care, just being a friend) that would fit your schedule and location. We'd only ask that you visit for three to four hours every month. I'm sure we've all wasted that much time over a month. We'll provide the training and pay for all the background checks, etc. We just ask that you dedicate yourself to make those visits (we know life happens though, and won't be mad if things change). This is great for students going into medical careers who want to have a patient-centered experience, and for any who are interested in spending time giving back.

Disclaimer: We are sorry but we can't accept any court ordered community service.

Description

Residential Hospice provides a team of specially-trained professionals and volunteers to provide care, comfort, support and dignity to patients and families when their illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments.

Residential Hospice brings better care home to patients and families by offering them individualized care plans, developed with their physicians and carried out in familiar surroundings with compassion, dignity and support.

As part of the Residential Home Health family of companies, Residential Hospice is ready to provide expert medical care, emotional comfort, spiritual support and pain management to meet the needs of each patient.
