The Red Cross Youth Club Program Coordinator is an adult volunteer who serves as the Red Cross Unit Contact for Red Cross youth clubs that are affiliated with the local Red Cross Chapter. Red Cross Club Coordinator supports and guides the Red Cross Club in its service engagement as well as informs the Club about opportunities that lay at the local Red Cross unit level.

Red Cross Youth Club Coordinators are generally responsible for: assisting chapter Clubs with registration and renewal procedures at the beginning of each school year, hosting (during the school calendar year only) leadership calls or in-person meetings with student Club leaders and their Club Advisors, attending Club events, fundraisers, and other Club activities as needed, serving as a mentor and advisor regarding youth service projects to support the Red Cross mission. The Coordinator will communicate to students available chapter volunteer opportunities and needs (in all our lines of service) and will assist with youth engagement in these activities (help with sign-up, chaperone events where needed, etc...). Most importantly, the Coordinator will create and maintain an environment where youth feel empowered to lead and mobilize peers in community service projects addressing local and global issues.
