AFS volunteers work to support locally hosted students from all over the world, by pairing with students as a liaison, helping to recruit host families, sharing information on study abroad programs, chaperoning local events and trips, facilitating at orientations, etc. Commitment is flexible according to a volunteer's availability and interests. The AFS Western NY team covers the surrounding areas of Buffalo and south to Jamestown.

Description

Western Iowa/Nebraska Team welcome exchange students each year. Volunteers are needed to support the students and families. AFS has opportunieis for hosting, going abroad, gap years, interships and more.
