I AM YOU is a grassroots NGO working in Ritsona refugee camp to provide education
services and access to vital health services to over 900 camp residents. Our team is
looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven volunteer to offer 5-10 hours a week of
grant-writing and administration support. This is an opportunity to build grant writing
experience on your CV while expanding support for the important services I AM YOU
offers on the ground in Ritsona. This is a volunteer role, but our organisation will act as a
reference after a three month period.
Reports to: I AM YOU Operations Coordinator
Works with: Fundraising Volunteer, Communications Coordinator
Location: Remote
Responsibilities and Duties
● Write statements of intent for grant applications
● Maintain a database of potential grants, including managing application due
dates and materials needed to complete the application
● Pull from existing data to strengthen applications
● Act as a contact for foundations and partner organisations
● General fundraising and networking support as needed
Requirements
● Excellent written communication and research skills
● A highly organised individual, meticulous attention to detail
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
● Remote working experience
● Ability to commit to a minimum of five hours a week
Start date: Rolling admissions, as soon as possible

Our mission is t o better serve displaced populations in Greece and fight prejudice by put ting our common humanity first. We envision a world free of prejudice; where dignity and respect are rights, not privileges.
Volunteering with I AM YOU means that you will join a dynamic team of individuals who work together to support our work while bringing a sense of humanity by improving the lives of displaced men, women and children.
