Creative Opportunities

NPF has a variety of creative opportunities available including but not limited to: graphic and multi-media design and layout, drafting and space planning, photography, website design, etc. In general, creative volunteers may help with the following types of projects:

• Design and layout of multiple print and digital projects including informational one-sheets, tour brochures, programs, pamphlets and other similar projects.
• Creation of video content for social media and online promotion and marketing
• Photograph buildings and places throughout Nevada for use in our marketing and tour materials, on our website, etc.
• Document/photograph our events and happenings
• Assist with the visual upkeep of our website
• Draft floorplans of historic buildings and other spaces that need analysis
• Space planning for various events and programs

Creative volunteers will need to adhere to NPF design and brand standards, but otherwise have creative free range over their projects. All materials must be freely given to Nevada Preservation without restrictions or watermarks. Creative credit will be provided for all materials.

Creative volunteers must have access to their own equipment. Nevada Preservation does not reimburse for any expenses of managing equipment unless pre-approved.

Time Commitment: There is no specific amount of time needed, however, creative volunteers must be willing to see projects through to completion.

Additionally, creative volunteers must submit work samples depicting their qualifications and/or a cover letter describing their interest in the position to volunteers@nevadapreservation.org.
