NAMI Glendale is looking for a volunteer to assist in digitizing and categorizing documents with the aim of creating a digital Resource Library for our members and the community.

After picking up the physical items to be scanned, the volunteer would work from home to:

  • scan an existing collection of pamphlets, handouts, and business cards related to local mental health services (i.e. doctors, psychologists, psychiatrists, therapists, hospitals, and mental health facilities)

  • develop a series of descriptive tags/labels for each document

  • save all materials to a flash drive provided to you

This volunteer opportunity is an excellent way to not only help create an invaluable resource for the community, but also a wonderful way to learn about existing mental health-related services in the area.
