ORGANIZATION: Boys & Girls Clubs of South Puget Sound

The Boys & Girls Club Lakewood Branch is seeking volunteers to help kids with homework, reading, and educational enrichment activities.

Skills Needed:

  • Patience working with children
  • Ability to work with youth from a variety of backgrounds
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Minimum of 18 years of age with HS Diploma/GED/Equivalent
  • Able to pass a background check and national sex offender registry check
Time Commitment:
  • 30 minute Volunteer Orientation (one-time)
  • 30 minute online training (one-time)
  • 1 hour, once per week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, OR Thursday between the times of 4:00-5:00 p.m.
  • Minimum 6 week commitment

Is your talent in planning special events? Participate in the Legacy of HOPE, Treasure Hunters, Don and Helen Murphy Memorial Golf Tournament, Dining with the stars Celebrity Chef Gala or a variety of other events.
