Catholic Mission Trips Incorporated (CMT) is a 501 (c)(3) that runs week-long mission trips for youth and college aged students throughout the US and internationally. CMT focuses on serving communities in need especially following natural disasters. CMT also aims to build the Catholic Church through authentic Faith encounters with the youth who serve. What makes CMT unique is that youth who serve attend Mass, receive sacraments, and have a nightly youth ministry program with our young adult mission leaders. At the end of the week the result is a community in need being built up, and a group of Catholic teens going back to their hometown with a fire for their faith.

CMT is seeking individuals skilled in carpentry or construction to help make our mission trips a reality. we rely on skilled volunteers to help plan and complete construction related projects with these in college stage volunteers who attend. Volunteer construction managers donate one to two weeks of their time to overseed 2-3 worksites. A stipend of $400 per week is offered, as well as reimbursement for travel cost to and from the site. Hours are Sunday through Thursday from 8am - 3pm. Applicants who have their own transportation and some of their own equipment are preferred, but this is not required. Our most common projects are debris cleanup, home renovation such as door flooring and painting, drywall and mudding, building porches decks and wheelchair ramps, framing, siding, and insulating homes. At each site, we work with our volunteer contractors in order to select projects that are appropriate for your preferences and skill level.
We are currently hiring construction coordinators for the following locations: Houston, Texas. San Juan, Texas. New Orleans, Louisiana. Cumberland, Kentucky and Jacksonville, Florida.
