Our special Family Nights at elementary schools throughout the Denver Metro Area include: Reading, Math, and Science, Health and Wellness, Multicultural, Performance and Art curriculum. We provide talented, local presenters that many DPS families would otherwise not have the chance to experience! Family Nights are fun and engaging and a most enjoyable volunteer experience.
All volunteer shifts typically begin at 5:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria, for set up and serving of a complimentary pizza dinner for our families at 5:30pm. Following dinner, entertaining and educational programming occurs from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Math and reading nights offer you the opportunity to enjoy leading math games and story time with students and parent groups.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) speakers a particularly needed.
If you wish, you are invited to share in the post dinner experiences with the families for the most interactive volunteer involvement.
Sign ups for specific events will be done via SignUpGenius.
This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, friends, and volunteer groups.
