Volunteers will assist Computer Recycling Center staff in the dismantling and recycling of old computers that have been donated. Other tasks may include moving things or cleaning up the CRC area once the dismantling work has been completed for the day.
Required Skills
- Experience with using basic hand tools
- Ability to take directions from a supervisor
- Ability to focus on repetitive tasks for long periods of time
- Solid organizational skills
Training
Very little involved, and can be done at the beginning of your first shift.
Scheduling
Flexible. Available times are between 9:30am-6pm, M-Sat. We ask that you be able to commit at least one hour per shift. We prefer that you be able to commit to four hours a month.
Age Requirement
Minimum age 16, unless accompanied by an adult.
