ORGANIZATION: The National Science Institute

Volunteer will work in the administrative department seeking corporate donations. This may be in a variety of ways, including online applications, written requests, and direct contact. You will work off of data that has been researched already, and also include your own research. Prior experience is not necessary, although welcome. This can be an internship as well.


Required Skills

  • Critical thinking and reading skills
  • Comprehensive ability to process and follow instructions and guidelines
  • Writing skills that can be technical, passionate, and sometimes both
  • Personality that does well with other professionally, especially on the phone
  • Comfortable speaking with people you do not yet know

Training

Training happens during your shifts. You will receive feedback as you go. Because of this, we require a minimum commitment of three months.


Scheduling

Scheduling is flexible. Available times are Monday-Friday 9:30am-9pm. Shifts are a minimum of two hours. We prefer somebody who can do at least four shifts per month.
