Child Care Instructor: Help your immigrant and refugee neighbors launch their careers in early childhood education! Up to two child care instructors are needed in Springfield, VA for a growing program. Classes will be held on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 7:00-9:00pm. Classes will begin on Tuesday, October 2 ndand end on Thursday, December 20 th. The ideal candidates will have experience in the child care field (day care, preschool, family child care, etc.). Candidates must commit to teach the entire semester. You will receive ample curriculum and resources, training, professional development, and additional support from Hogar staff throughout the semester. Description
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Arlington's Newcomer Services is made up of two departments - Hogar Immigrant Services and Migration and Refugee Services.
Hogar Immigrant Services responds to the Church’s call for social justice by welcoming the stranger to this country, regardless of ethnicity, religion, nationality, or ability to pay.
Migration and Refugee Services is one of 104 national affiliates of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Since its founding in 1975, the office has resettled and assisted over 30,000 refugees and asylees in the Northern Virginia community.
