Cooking Matters is a six-week nutrition and cooking course designed to educate low-income community members how to shop and cook healthfully while sticking to a budget. Classes meet once per week (every Thursday) for 6 weeks.

Then by building relationships and engaging our neighbors, we create programs and initiatives that meet specific needs, breaking the cycles of poverty, restoring dignity and improving the health of our community. We have served the seven counties of central NC for over 32 years and are a member of the Feeding America network of 200 food banks across the nation.
