For the last 13 years, South Shore Habitat for Humanity has held an annual bike ride that acts as one of our largest fundraisers. As a Volunteer you would be supporting the ride during set-up, breakdown, lunch, rest stops and intersection guides to name a few
If you are interested in riding go to www.southshorehabitat.org/events to register. We hope you will join us or bring a team for his year’s ride on September 15 th, 2018. It is non-competitive and has routes of various lengths: 15, 25, or 50 miles. Each route begins and ends in Hingham. Registration is $25 and fundraising is set to a minimum of $100.
Habitat for Humanity does not give its homes away, we offer simple, decent, affordable home ownership opportunities to low-income households earning no more than 60% of the area median income through a 30 year affordable mortgage.
