Hi Gang,
I am so excited to connect with each of you in hopes we can come together and lock arms to help homeless and trafficked youth that are served by Covenant House New Jersey! It is an incredible community of people helping to change the lives of some awesome young people who need a chance for at a better life.
Whether you’ve participated in sleep out, donated, or don’t know much at all about Covenant House but want to learn more, I would love for everyone interested to come together. There are many opportunities to volunteer, participate in events or join our Young Professionals Board. It is a great way to meet with other YP’s that have a passion to make a difference in their own communities.
Let me start by introducing myself, for those of you who don’t already know me. My name is Kirsten Corley. I've joined the Covenant House Team as a Development Associate. While the job is new, my passion and commitment is not. I was a former volunteer. I have participated in 5 Sleep Out Editions, ran two full marathons and a few halfs for Covenant House’s *Home Team, I have traveled to Guatemala to visit our international shelter, sat on both the New York and New Jersey’s Young Professional Board and have visited 7 of our 32 cities our shelters are located in. I love being part of the Covenant House Family!
This organization is one that inspires me everyday and I would love to get you involved because I believe when good individuals who want to make an impact come together, great things can happen. We don’t do this work alone... we need your support!

Description
My name is Kirsten Corley, I was a volunteer with Covenant House for four years before being hired as the Development Associate. In my time volunteering, I had the opportunity to go to our international shelter in Guatemala, run 2 NY full marathons and 2 NY halfs, sit in the board both in NY and NJ and meet some of my closest friends partaking in our yearly sleep out. Covenant House hosts sleep outs throughout the year, where for a night you sleep with a box and a sleeping bag to raise money and awareness for our youth. As the development associate my job is to find volunteers like myself, who want to learn more about our organization, volunteer with the kids and connect a group of like minded people to a mission that includes protecting children and keeping them off the streets.
