We are in need of volunteers who can help us on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am till about 1:00 pm (until last client has been served)

Position Title Clothing Room- Check out Team Member

Purpose/objective Maintain clothing room flow

Reports to Team/Clothing Lead

Key Responsibilities -Greet and assist clients in shopping with a smile and pass no judgment

-Record client name, time and give proper clothing guidelines

-Instruct clients of flow to follow to ensure they get every item they qualify for

(i.e. homeless, partial or full ticket)

-Bag or box clients clothes and when in doubt of an item, please see Center

Director for a final answer.

-When time allows remove empty hangers from racks.

- Size shoes properly and restock shelves

-Assist in keeping clothing room clean and presentable as well as child play area

-Assist with restocking toiletries shelves

-May need to sort incoming donations to our specifications

Good Communication Skills

Task-oriented

Must be able to lift 30lbs
