Do you have a background in art and crafts? Need a flexible schedule and are seeking more of a "behind the scenes" volunteer position? The Rocklin Library is currently seeking teen volunteers between 14-17 years old to work closely with staff on material prep or display making.
Material Prep: Assist staff by tracing, cutting, and otherwise preparing large amounts of materials for library crafts and programs. Seeking volunteers with strong attention to detail and enjoy repetitive tasks.
Display Making: Put your creativity to the test by working with staff to design quality library displays that will WOW library visitors while promoting literacy. Challenge yourself with different display areas, material types, and themes.
Both positions offer a flexible schedule, but require a minimum of 2.5 hours weekly.
