New Hope Rescue, Inc. is an animal rescue that is in need of volunteers in many different areas:
1) Adoption events help - adoptions are held every Saturday from noon to 3pm at 3109 N Hancock Ave. We need help with set-up (9am to noon), walking animals (anytime between 9am and 5pm on Saturdays), helping with cleaning (after 3pm), and helping with adoptions.
2) Record management - done from your own computer. Uploading animal records, processing adoptions, uploading available animals from shelters in NM, searching for 'in danger' animals who have been at shelters too long, adding and removing new and adopted animals onto a separate website.
3) Occasional trips to Denver area to have animals sterilized or for vet visits. Gas money provided.
4) Occasional trips to New Mexico to transport animals to Colorado Springs. Gas money and van provided.
5) Fosters - we are always looking for willing and loving fosters for our animals. Food and vet expenses provided.

Mission Statement
We Are Different Than a Shelter We feel that black dogs, bullie breeds, old dogs and handicapped dogs, and cats deserve to be loved, not killed. Our animals live in houses, not in cages with cement floors. They are exposed to a home environment so they can make an easier transition to their forever homes. They are socialized with people and other pets. They get medical treatment including getting fixed, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm tested, and vaccinated. All our staff are volunteers. We do not clock in at 8 and out at 5. The pets are around people 24/7
Description
We rescue dogs and cats on death row. We place them in loving foster homes, give medical care and find forever homes for them.
We have a foundation of people with experience in the dog rescue world. We are a bridge to help dogs and cats that are on death row because of overcrowding get to loving forever homes.
