C2Adopt is currently seeking volunteers to answer the phone at the front desk during our business hours which are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday! Volunteer times are flexible, pre-scheduled with you for dates and hours that fit your schedule. Your primary task would require operating our four line phone system, answering calls, and directing calls to the appropriate staff member. Greeting clients and letting their social worker know they are here will also be necessary. Some light office tasks such as copying or shredding may also be requested. Training will be provided, and then this role would be fulfilled primarily solo at the front desk. All staff in the office are available for phone assistance or questions!

C2Adopt covers the cost of background checks, because of this we ask that you plan to volunteer multiple hours over a series of weeks. We are not looking for one time volunteers at this time. All volunteers must fill out a volunteer packet which includes a confidentially statement, background checks, along with other required child placing agency documents.

This opportunity would be a good fit for someone who is retired or someone between jobs looking to get some experience with their phone etiquette and office skills, or even curious to learn the behind the scenes of an adoption agency. Fulfilling this role saves time for social workers to complete their pressing work, finding permanent families for children.
