A Day Out With Thomas is a fundraising event to support the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden, CO. The event will run Saturday and Sunday Sept. 8 th, 9 th, 15 th, 16 th, 22 nd and 23 rd. Volunteers are needed to assist with a number of stations, from supervising children’s activity and craft stations, storytelling, and temporary tattoos, to working in our merchandise tent, crowd control, and will call stations. Each shift is 4 hours: Opening 7:30-11:30am, Morning 8:00-12:00pm, Afternoon 12:00-4:00pm, and Closing 12:30-4:30pm.
- Each Volunteer will receive:
- An Information Packet with Parking Pass.
- A Lanyard
- Snacks and Water + 15 min break each shift. (double shifts receive a Lunch Voucher)
- An invitation to our Day Out With Thomas Appreciation Party
- You can earn FREE tickets for Saturday the 8th, 15th or 22nd at 4:45pm.
Once you turn in your volunteer form, our volunteer coordinator will contact you with details and a Volunteer Information Packet. Your help is appreciated at this event, and we hope that you enjoy volunteering with us!
