Elara Caring and Hospice is currently seeking volunteers for our Hospice program!
If you have just a few extra hours a week to sit with a hospice patient to read, do puzzles, crafts, watch TV, or just simply listen, Elara Caring is looking for you!
This is a great way to enrich the lives of others and your own as well!
Elara Caring does require
- Must be at least 17 years old (to provide direct companionship)
- Must be at least 16 years old (to provide support in our office)
- Must complete a drug test
- Must have a background check
- Must have fingerprints done

Time is our most precious gift. Share your gift with a Hospice patient.
Time is limited, yet of eternal value. What makes it so is how you use it and to whom you give it. Share your gift of time with a patient on their end-of-life journey. No special skills are necessary, just a listening ear and an open heart. It will be some of the most rewarding time you’ll ever spend.
Elara Caring Hospice is currently looking for Volunteers: Companion Volunteers, Pet Therapy, Veteran Volunteers, Office Volunteers, and Crafting Volunteers. We have patients in need in outlying areas as well as the Grand Rapids Area. These areas include Grand Rapids, Big Rapids, Wayland/ Hastings, Greenville, Rockford, Holland, and Saugatuck/Douglas.
