Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh is seeking a Spanish-speaking volunteer to work with our Children's Librarian to co-present story time programs for families in Spanishand English once per month at CLP-Beechview ( 1910 Broadway Ave, 15216). Preference is given to volunteers whose native language is Spanish.
We are seeking a volunteer who is available one Thursday per month from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Meets regularly with children’s specialist to discuss and plan program content
Make programming recommendations based on cultural and linguistic knowledge of population being served
- Co-present bilingual storytime program with children’s specialist once-per-month
