The Community Enrichment Project (CEP) is seeking a part-time volunteer Program Coordinator to serve as the program’s visionary leader, ensuring quality programs. The primary work of Program Coordinator will focus on developing and implementing academic year programs within Washington, D.C. A primary responsibility will be guiding youth through various programs based on our curriculum intended to introduce and enhance youth civic engagement. The Coordinator will also work to inform and engage school staff on the purpose and intent of our programs. The Coordinator will work with other volunteers toward creating impactful and satisfying experiences for our target audiences.

Description

The Community Enrichment Project offers Washington, D.C. Ward 7 and Ward 8 youth civic engagement programs and services. Through various programming youth are trained to be active participants in their communities. Programming is designed to empower youth to be community leaders who will provide community-based solutions to community issues, and help to eradicate socio-economic issues one underserved community at a time.
