STEMCraft will be a huge Minecraft-themed, kid-safe, guided gaming event at the School of the Future, 40 th & Parkside Avenue in West Philadelphia. About 1,000 gamers, 17 and under, will build, explore and have fun on Saturday, October 6, 2018. There will be lots of activities for gamers and non-gamers including live music, hands on science experiments, a vendor fair, food trucks and so much more! Learn more at www.pccy.org/stemcraft .
We need about 3 00 volunteers to help make this event a success and a great experience for the kids. We have volunteers roles for both tech-minded people and the non-techies.
A full list of volunteer opportunities can be found on our website at www.pccy.org/stemcraftvolunteer .
As you may already know, for 38 years, PCCY has set the agenda for child advocacy in southeastern Pennsylvania. While most people in the region would recognize a PCCY initiative or at least one of our many successful campaigns, we hope this event will help us reach more families so they can support the work we do.
