Generosity Feeds in partnership with Generations Church will undertake an event to prepare 10,000 meals to help hungry children in Denver. 69% of children in Denver County struggle with hunger and this event is a way to change the math in child hunger. The volunteers will package nutritious meals on Sunday, September 30 at Lake Middle School at 10:00 a.m. The meals provide a healthy solution to hunger. Once the meals are prepared, they will be distributed to children in Denver and surrounding areas through the Denver Public School system and already established community organizations.
The public can participate, as well as donate towards the cause.
