Volunteers are important members of the Hospice Care Team. They help hospice patients and families many ways such as shopping or running errands, reading, filling in to give family caregivers a break, delivering flowers, or simply offering companionship and listening.

Volunteers visit a patient an average of once a week, for 2-4 hours (including driving time). The time commitment may fluctuate depending upon the patient’s needs and the volunteer’s availability.

Spring 2019 training dates: Tuesdays, Feb. 26 - April 2, 1-5 p.m. Application Deadline - Feb. 20, 2019
