IndyHumane offers Youth Camps throughout the year.
Our upcoming Youth Camp, the Fall Paws Camp is a camp for students ages 8 to 12 Years of Age and will be held 10/15/2018 thru 10/19/2008.
We are now accepting applications (until 08/31) for the Fall Paws Camp Staff. Camp Staff Members must be at least 16-Years-Old and able to work the full week as well as attend trainings & meetings in September & October. These positions are paid.
Camp Staff Responsibilities:
- Supervise Campers during their scheduled activities
- Ensure rules are being followed and activities are completed well and on a timely basis
- Complete assigned tasks at the beginning & end of work shift
- Maintain all areas used by Camp
Camp Staff Qualifications:
- No allergies to dogs or cats
- Must be at least 16+ years of age by 08/15
- Must complete training successfully
- Must commit to attending each day of the Fall Paws Camp Schedule
- Must be able to interact positively with Patrons, Staff Members, Volunteers, Campers, Camper
- Parents, and Animals.
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must have great leadership skills
- Pleasant manner
- Patience
- Dependability

WHO WE ARE
Since 1905, IndyHumane provides vital services to animals and people alike through sheltering and adopting animals, providing positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable animals and outreach through our community and shelter programs.
A private, nonprofit organization that receives no public or private government funding, the Humane Society of Indianapolis is supported solely by contributions, grants, bequests, investments, adoption fees and other fees for service.
